Entrepreneur and philanthropist Tye Friis dedicates his endeavors to the well-being of animals. Based in the Antelope Valley, Friis owns and operates Reversed Rescue and Boss Sanctuary, nonprofit organizations that take in animals of all shapes and sizes to save them from neglect, abuse, emaciation and other harmful conditions. The Los Angeles County Sheriff and Congressman Mike Garcia recognize his passion and endorse his humanitarian works.

Reversed Rescue is a nonprofit dog rescue based in Leona Valley, California, devoted to saving and rehabilitating neglected and abused dogs. They take in rehabilitation cases that most other rescues would overlook due to their complicated conditions, specializing in neglect, rescuing special needs, seniors, severe abuse/emaciation cases and amputees. Boss Sanctuary provides a permanent home to sanctuary animals rescued from harmful environments. Their sanctuary is for animals who are not meant to be domesticated and other unique cases. Their focus is primarily on rescuing animals that have been illegally bred or have no other option but euthanasia. These animals require urgent funding for medical bills, enclosure fees, feeding and more. And donations go to their comfort and security.

Strictly against the pay-to-enter practice, they do not offer tours, petting, riding or the like. Each enclosure is custom-built around each animal’s needs so that they may have the highest quality of life possible.
